About Dr. David Weech

Dave is the son of a minister who started churches in both the Bahamas and Tennessee and so he was raised in both places as a charitable person.  His Mom was very active in the church and died at the age of 101 just 2 years ago, after surviving the big Nassau hurricane.  Dave broke his neck years ago and has some limitations in movement – but this doesn’t slow him down!

He has a terrific spirit and great ethics. His uncle was Sir Durward Knowles who was knighted as a philanthropist and won the Bahamas’ first gold medal in the Olympics as a sailor.  Just a great and giving family.

Here Dave is trying to do something for Ukrainian Vets.

He married a Montreal lawyer and has raised their two kids after Hélène, his wife, died of an extreme asthma attack.  Both kids are fluently bilingual and have spent a lot of time in Ontario and Quebec.  Thus the Canadian connection is very strong.

He has put a hustle in his trip so we haven’t had the proper time to plan it because he’s concerned about his small machine and getting caught with the cold weather at the end of the summer.

Please help us support his great journey!
